The enforcement of Section 17A of the MACC Act 2009 will be effective from June 2020. Under the new provision, a commercial organisation could be prosecuted if a person associated with the organisation commits a corrupt act. In view of this, ACCCIM organise the Seminar on Corporate Liability to introduce the Corporate Liability Provision and its implications to Directors, Partners and Management of Commercial Organisations so as to create awareness.

YB Datuk Liew Vui Keong, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law) is the Guest of Honour and will deliver a keynote address. Tan Sri Datuk Ter Leong Yap, President of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM) cum President of ACCCIM will deliver a speech.

The Organising Committee cordially invites ACCCIM Permanent Honorary Presidents, Honorary Presidents, Members of the Central Committee, Executive Advisors, Honorary Advisors, Working Group Advisors, Chairmen and Vice Chairmen, Distinguished Members, as well as Presidents of Member Associations (or their representatives) to attend the seminar. Invited guests are exempted from the registration fee. Please find enclosed the Registration Form for Invited Guests (Annex 1) for your reference.

Registration fee for members of ACCCIM Constituent Members and Associate Members isRM50 per personmembers of supporting organisation is RM100 per person; and for non-members isRM150 per person. Constituent members and Associate Members are requested to disseminate the information to members so as to encourage participation. The Registration Form (ANNEX 2) is as enclosed.
