
In May 2017, H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China announced at the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation that with effect from 2018, China will be organizing China International Import Expo (CIIE). It is a significant move for the China Government to hold CIIE with a view of firmly supporting trade liberalization, economic globalization as well as actively opening the market to the world. It will facilitate countries all around the world to strengthen economic and trade cooperation, to promote global trade and economic growth in order to advance the development of an open world economy.
The Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government will jointly host the 2019 CIIE from 5th to 10th November 2019 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). CIIE is supported by the World Trade Organization and United Nations Industrial Development Organization and etc., and co-organized by the China International Import Bureau and National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.. CIIE has a total area of 240,000m2 consisted of Country Pavilion for Trade and Investment and Enterprise & Business Exhibition.
Supported by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry of Malaysia (MITI) and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia, ACCCIM will be participating and organising delegation to participate in the CIIE so as to provide an International platform and opportunity to Malaysian companies, and assist them to promote their products and services to overseas markets.
ACCCIM will be setting up ACCCIM Pavilion (Malaysia) with 30 booths at the Food & Agricultural area in CIIE.

Eligible companies are entitled to claim Market Development Grant (MDG). Booths are limited, interested companies are kindly requested to register with ACCCIM as soon as possible. Booking fee for one booth is RM 3,000. The organiser has set a more tighten rules and regulations this year whereby they will only allotted booths to qualified companies upon their review. In this connection, price per booth is subject to availability. ACCCIM will refund the booking fee if company application is being rejected by the organiser.

Interested companies are kindly requested to email or fax the duly completed registration form, with payment advise of booking fee and company profile to ACCCIM Secretariat before 25th March 2019.
Constituent Members and Associate Members are requested to disseminate the information to members so as to encourage participation.
